It was slightly overcast, slightly cool, barely 15 degrees and windy for the first prefinal at PFI, for the International Super Cup in KF-Junior. Alessio Lorandi (Tony Kart / Parilla) was on pole next to Jehan Daruvala (FA Kart / Vortex), Enaam Ahmed ( FA Kart / Vortex) and Robert Shwartzman (Tony Kart / TM) behind them.
There was a small crash in the middle of the pack before passing under the bridge, Ahmed dropped back, Arthur Lehouck (Tony Kart / TM) and Archie Tillett (CRG / BMB) lost time on the grass. Lorandi took the lead on lap 1 ahead of Daruvala and Shwartzman. Gabriel Aubry (Birel / TM) made ??an excellent start and was fourth, Lando Norris (FA Kart / Vortex) had already returned to sixth. Daruvala maintained contact with the leader by 3/10, Mick Betsch (Tony Kart / Vortex), and Dan Norris Ticktum (FA Kart / Vortex ) passed Aubry. On lap 4, Daruvala attacked and took the lead. The battle continued between Aubry and Ticktum.
At the halfway point Daruvala increased his lead on Lorandi, who was then overtaken by Shwartzman. Norris was not far off, Ticktum returned to fifth from Betsch and Aubry. Norris overtook Lorandi on lap 7, followed by Ticktum on the following lap. On the last lap, Shwartzman started threatening Daruvala who had to defend, which closed them all up. Lorandi was recklessly trying to attack Norris. Daruvala won ahead of Shwartzman, Ticktum, with the fastest lap, and Betsch.
